APRIL GROSSRUCK & BECAUSE WE MATTER GUEST ARTISTS
April - accomplished pastel artist and an advocate for wildlife conservation. She believes that “We all thrive together”. FRED METZ - Pastel and graphite on paper artist, as well as a career creator of glass work equipment. “I believe my artworks represent ideas and elements extracted from a figure drawing session where the environment, music playing, and the energy of the model start a conversation with me that I then transform onto paper.” AMBER BEANE – Pastel artists “Creating art as a child was my way of feeling joy. Creating art as a young adult became a light in the darkness and a way to express what I could never explain. Creating art as an adult is more challenging, as I feel the pressure of expectations. So, I hold my pencil, and myself, and go forward knowing that art still has so much to show me.” AVI Z. - Retired musician who now lives a reclusive life as an artist. Her series titled “Bipolar Frenzy” uses rhythm and abstraction as a vehicle to voyage into the uncharted cosmos. Additional works have been generously donated by: Teresa Sala.
